Become a Member of the Garner Area Historical Society

We invite you to join the Garner Area Historical Society (GAHS) and our efforts to preserve and share the history of Garner and surrounding areas. Whether your family roots are deep in Garner, or you are a recent arrival...whether you live in the Garner area now or are many miles away...you have reason to care about Garner's long and exciting history. Help us save and share it by becoming a member!​

Member Benefits: Members receive a periodic email newsletter and advance notice of association-sponsored programs, exhibits, tours and events. You will also find special features and stories of local historical interest. Best of all, you will know that you are a key part of the effort to preserve and communicate the history of Garner. Members will also receive a discount on items in the GAHS Gift Shop, which will offer a selection of books on local history as well as other items commemorating aspects of Garner's history.

Membership Fees: The membership year is a calendar year. Those joining after October 1 will have a valid membership through the following year.

How to Join GAHS:

1. Complete our membership application (found on the following page of this website)
2. Click "Donate" to pay by credit card or PayPal. You will then be directed to the PayPal login page.  You do not have to have a PayPal account, however. Below the blue login button, you have an opportunity to enter credit card information OR
3. Print and mail the completed form and check to: Garner Area Historical Society, P. O. Box 156, Garner, NC 27529
